There was a big shakeup in the provincial cabinet Monday with two ministers out and two new ones joining the inner circle. It all started with the bombshell announcement that Cathy Bennett had resigned as finance minister. Premier Dwight Ball took that as a chance to inject some new blood into his struggling government. He brought in Tom Osborne as finance minister while dropping Perry Trimper, possibly into the speaker’s chair. Ball also brought in Lisa Dempster as minister of children, seniors and social development. NTV’s Michael Connors reports.
