The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the man responsible for an armed robbery in St. John’s.

On Tuesday, Feb. 20, at about 10:45 p.m., police responded to an armed robbery at Ultramar on Bay Bulls Road. A man entered the business with a weapon and demanded cash. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, and headed West on Old Bay Bulls Road. Police believe it’s possible a vehicle was used to flee the scene.

The man believed to be responsible for the armed robbery is described as 5’6” tall, and was wearing a black pull over jacket and a blue ski mask at the time of the offence.
