The RNC is investigating a reported armed robbery late this afternoon at the BMO bank on Elizabeth Avenue – and seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
Just before 3 p.m., officers responded to a holdup alarm at the St. John’s bank.
A lone male entered the bank brandishing a weapon and demanded cash. The man fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash and police are continuing to search for him at this hour.
He is described as 5’8” and 150lbs.
The RNC is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual responsible.
