Liberal MHA Perry Trimper is disappointed but has no hard feelings about being dropped from cabinet in this week’s shuffle. He’s already taking the premier’s endorsement and running for Speaker of the House of Assembly next week. But Liberal MHA Pam Parsons is not ruling out running either. Meanwhile, the opposition Tories are questioning the cost of recalling the House in the middle of the summer, but the government says the legislative branch can’t function without a speaker.
