With cold and flu season quickly approaching, doctors estimate 20,000 fewer people will get the flu shot this year. That’s because the province cut the MCP code for doctor-administered flu shots. The N.L. Medical Association wants the province to reverse the decision, but Health Minister John Haggie says its about allowing doctors and other health professionals to focus on their scope of practice.
