The two candidates for the PC leadership squared off in their second debate last night, this time in Goulds. Leadership hopefuls Ches Crosbie and Tony Wakeham tackled topics from Muskrat Falls to the province’s fiscal problems.

Moderated by NTV’s provincial affairs reporter Micheal Connors, the two candidates squared off on on government spending problems, health care, regionalization and cost overruns at Muskrat Falls. The topic of Nalcor once again was a hot button issue – with Crosbie having referred to Naclor as a deep state in past. He once again talked about possibly letting Muskrat Falls fail, while Wakeham continued to defend the project.
