New polling numbers from MQO Research show the federal Conservatives gaining ground in Newfoundland and Labrador, but the Liberals are still in the lead. Among decided and leaning voters, 56 per cent said they would vote Liberal in a federal election, while 35 per cent would vote Conservative. That’s 10 percentage point jump for the Tories since last fall. Only 6 per cent said they would vote NDP. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.9 percentage points 19 times out of 20.
