Forestry minister Gerry Byrne is firing back at criticism of a deal between the province and a U.K. company to build a wood pellet plant in Hawke’s Bay. The nearby town of Roddickton-Bide Arm said it was betrayed, but Byrne says they could still gain from the venture. NTV’s Don Bradshaw reports.
