Liberal leader Dwight Ball says 24-hour emergency room service will be restored at the Botwood hospital in 2020. He’s reversing a decision made in the controversial 2016 budget to cut the ER to 12 hours a day. It was the second health care spending announcement in as many days from Ball, coming the same day that a third opinion poll from Forum Research shows the Tories and Liberals in a statistical tie.
