It’s been a busy season for Team Gushue – a winning season for the most part. Taking back-to-back Brier titles, finishing second at the world championship and announcing the team stay together for another four years. That’s big news considering many other rinks are breaking up.

The Gushue rink hasn’t had much of a break. Since the Brier back in March, Brad Gushue and his crew travelled to Manitoba to play in the Elite 10, then headed to Las Vegas for the world tourney. They then headed to compete in the Players Championship.

The Brier champions are in Calgary this week competing at the 2018 Humpty’s Champions Cup, kicking off the tournament against Team Tardi, taking the game 8-3, as the B.C. group conceded after six ends. Gushue’s rink shot over 85% with Gushue shooting 91% through the six ends.

Team Gushue will face Team Jacobs Thursday evening.
