Craig Lynch has been linked to at least five break and enters since August and according to police has attacked officers with an ATV.
Lynch, 40, was finally arrested Wednesday night without incident at a traffic stop in Paradise, making his first appearance in provincial court Thursday afternoon.
Police say most of Lynch’s theft charges are a result of commercial property and construction site break ins. The RNC also claim that last week Lynch was involved in an ATV chase with police, ditched his for a second ATV before he tried to run over two officers with it.
Lynch remains in custody facing charges of break and enter, theft, assaulting a peace officer with a weapon and dangerous driving. Lynch is due back in court November 30 by video link.
