Mark Brace has been in business since he was just 19, and today he’s hoping to expand a granite mine he acquired. However, he says government red tape has proven to be the one obstacle he hasn’t been able to overcome.

Access to the property was damaged by Hurricane Matthew, and he hasn’t been able to get power connected to the building. He believes the operation could employ 50 to 60 people and requests to meet with government have gone unanswered.
